Activity:             Fund Raising – Other

Description:       Generate any fund raising activities the club wants to be involved in, such as selling RochesterFest buttons  (see below).

Commitment:     Ensure club has enough money to fulfill obligations as a service organization.

                           Club must have money for both service and administrative funds.

Misc:                 Events as requested through the Board.

Activity:             Rochesterfest (Citywide event) - Button Sales and other Kiwanian supported activities - May thru June27th

Description:       Assist the Rochester 150 year celebration activities by helping raise funds thru sales of Rochesterfest buttons.  Day Makers and other Rochester Kiwanians will provide special support at Rochesterfest with the free kids games and ride activities the week of June 19-27th.

Commitment:     Several days leading up to June 19 -27th event. 

Results:              RochesterFest Button sales a HUGE success!  Thanks to all who donated, bought             and/or sold Rochesterfest buttons this year.  Our club sold a record 1130 buttons and once again topped all others in the nonprofit sales category.  For our effort, we received a bonus $100 check from the Rochesterfest button committee.  This brings our total button profit to  ~$1230. 

Misc:                  Will Rasmussen, Margee and Chuck Jacobson at the Farmer's Market selling Rochesterfest buttons to support the Rochesterfest event as part of the Rochester 150 Years celebration.
